Life's Ends
There's a divinity which shapes our ends.
It can't be found in books or learned
in cavernous lecture halls,
it can't be gleaned from powerful speeches
or polished articles.
It can't be thought about 'til found
or logically deduced,
no well-paid teacher can impart to you
understanding of this truth.
This power underneath all things
moves not to a human schedule,
it can't be measured, weighed, observed,
can't be seen; is only felt.
Only through your own experience
can you begin to see life's justice;
first clean your mind, then clean your eyes,
and you'll see the purpose life has for us.
